The program will include wine tasting in Urla Wines, a guided visit to the Uzbaş Arboretum, home to an extensive botanical collection, and a tour of the Köstem Olive Oil Museum—the world’s largest olive oil museum, offering a unique journey through the history of olive cultivation and production in Anatolia. Program Highlights: Guided Winery Tour & Wine Tasting Uzbaş Arboretum Visit Köstem Olive Oil Museum – A Living Heritage The Köstem Olive Oil Museum, established in 2017 in Urla, Türkiye, is the world’s largest museum dedicated to the history of olive oil. Founded by Dr. Levent and Güler Köstem as part of their organic olive farm, the museum showcases 12 distinct historical periods of olive oil production through restored machinery, including a full-scale replica of a 6th-century BCE Klazomenai olive press. Set within a 20,000 m² complex that includes 12,000 olive trees, the museum blends education, sustainability, and cultural preservation, offering visitors an immersive journey through Anatolia’s rich olive oil heritage.
